Role Overview
As a Graduate Financial Advisor, you’ll embark on a structured training programme designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the financial advisory field. You’ll work closely with experienced advisors, gaining hands-on experience in client relationship management, financial planning, and investment strategies.
Your journey will begin with an intensive induction period, introducing you to our company’s ethos, services, and the regulatory environment. Following this, you’ll engage in rotational placements across various departments, including wealth management, retirement planning, and insurance services, providing you with a holistic understanding of our operations.
Throughout the programme, you’ll be encouraged to take ownership of projects, contribute ideas, and develop your professional network. By the end of the programme, you’ll be well-prepared to take on the responsibilities of a Financial Advisor, managing your own client portfolio and providing strategic financial advice.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to assess their financial situations and objectives.
- Develop customised financial plans covering areas such as investments, insurance, and retirement.
- Research and recommend financial products that suit clients’ needs.
- Monitor clients’ financial progress and adjust plans as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial products.
- Commit to completing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours annually to maintain industry knowledge and compliance standards.
